A judge in Chile has said that the country's former military ruler, General Augusto Pinochet, is fit enough to be tried for alleged human rights abuses in the 1970s.
Judge Juan Guzman formally indicted the 89-year-old with kidnapping and murder.
However, an order that Mr Pinochet be held under house arrest was suspended following an appeal by his defence team.
