Dutch police have arrested two suspects in a raid on a building for an anti-terrorism investigation.
A police spokesman said a special police unit had raided the apartment in The Hague following a 14-hour standoff
The spokesman said the police were now investigating the apartment and the siege was over.
Three police officers were wounded earlier when a grenade was thrown in their direction during the raid on the house near one of the city's main railway stations.
Shots were also fired. Airspace over the city had been closed, and the area was cordoned off.
The Netherlands has been on alert since the murder earlier this month of the controversial Dutch director Theo van Gogh, who was killed by a suspected Islamic radical in Amsterdam.
Police refused to say whether there was any link between today's raid and the investigation into Mr van Gogh's murder.
