Five devices have been discovered at the Mallusk mail sorting office on the outskirts of north Belfast.
Four of the devices were addressed to members of the District Policing Partnership Boards and one was addressed to the governor at Maghaberry Prison.
Earlier, police said there were three security alerts overnight, and advised the public to be vigilant when opening items of mail.
