Iran to submit indictment in Saddam trial

The Government of Iran has said it would submit an indictment to the Baghdad court trying former Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein.

Iran's foreign ministry said the complaint would centre on Hussein's attack on the country in 1980 and his use of chemical weapons.

Saddam Hussein appeared before a court in Baghdad last week facing charges for crimes against humanity.
