Jurors in the trial of Belgian child abductor Marc Dutroux have retired to consider their verdict after three months of hearings into a series of kidnappings, abuse and murders of young girls.
The jury must consider the evidence and pass judgement on the former electrician and three co-defendants after the trial in Arlon, eastern Belgium.
Dutroux faces life imprisonment if convicted.
While he has confessed to the kidnapping of six girls, four of whom died, he denies charges of murder.
His three co-accused are charged with offences including abduction, rape and drug-dealing, and face sentences of up to 30 years.
