Demonstrators protesting against the US-led occupation of Iraq have hurled at least two petrol bombs at the British embassy in the Iranian capital.
No-one was hurt by the bombs which landed outside the embassy compound in Tehran.
A British diplomat said several hundred protesters also threw stones at the embassy, breaking some windows in an administrative building.
