Verdict tomorrow for Irishmen in Colombia

The three Irishmen held in Colombia on charges of training FARC guerrillas are to appeal to the international courts if they are convicted on the charges tommorrow.

The trial of Niall Connolly, James Monaghan and Martin McAuley ended in Bogota over 8 months ago, and the long-awaited verdict is expected to be announced by the Chief Justice of Colombia tomorrow.

According to the spokeswoman for the Bring them Home campaign, Caitriona Ruane, all options will be pursued if the men are convicted.
