Gardaí say two men were injured, one seriously, following a shooting incident in Sligo town early this morning.
It is understood the two, along with another man, were travelling in a van in the Cranmore area at around 12.15am when shots were fired at their vehicle by a man standing nearby.
They drove to Sligo General Hospital where two of them are being treated for gunshot injuries. A spokeswoman said they are in a stable condition.
Gardaí in Sligo have appealed for anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
