UNSC open session on Israeli wall

The UN Security Council has decided to hold an open session on Tuesday on Israel's construction of a security barrier which juts into the West Bank, according to diplomatic sources.

Israeli forces meanwhile killed seven Palestinians, including an eight-year-old boy, in a raid on a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said troops shot dead three militants but the other four killed were unarmed civilians, including an eight-year-old boy hit in the head by tank shell shrapnel and a 15-year-old youth.
