Iran to reduce co-operation with IAEA

Iran has said it will reduce its level of co-operation with the International Atomic Energy Agency in a row over the country's nuclear programme.

The IAEA - which is the United Nations' nuclear watchdog - has given Iran a deadline to prove that its programme is peaceful in intent.

The Iranian representative to the agency said that from now on Iran would only observe its existing commitments.

He said his government had so far exceeded its obligations in what it allowed inspectors to do.
