The funeral is taking place today of a 14-year-old boy who died in hospital last Friday after an alleged assault four days earlier in Clonmel in County Tipperary.

A post mortem examination established that Brian Rossiter died of head injuries. Gardaí are still investigating what they believe was a violent incident at Cashel Street in Clonmel in the early hours of Monday last week.
