The funeral of the 14-year-old County Tipperary boy who died following a reported assault in Clonmel will take place tomorrow.

The funeral of the 14-year-old County Tipperary boy who died following a reported assault in Clonmel will take place tomorrow.

The body of the teenager, who died in hospital last week, will be removed to the Church of the Resurrection in Clonmel this evening.

The Deputy State Pathologist Marie Cassidy has said that Brian Rossiter's death was the result of a head injury.

Gardaí in Clonmel are continuing their investigation into an assault in Clonmel on the night of Sunday, 8 September or the early hours of the following morning which may have led to the youth's death.
