Police in London are searching for two men who escaped with $3m after hijacking a security van at Heathrow Airport.

Police in London are searching for two men who escaped with $3m after hijacking a security van at Heathrow Airport. The money had arrived at the airport on a South African Airways flight this morning.

Two men forced the driver of the van to drive out of the airport. They later stopped and transferred the money to their own vehicle before they made their getaway.

It is the second such incident at the airport in the past few weeks. On 11 February, raiders got away with £4.6m in foreign cash. This morning, a man was arrested in London over last month's Heathrow robbery. He remains in custody at a London police station.
