Castro assassination plot foiled by police in Panama

Police in Panama have arrested four Cuban-Americans accused of plotting to assassinate the Cuban President, Fidel Castro. Police said that the four were detained as a precaution after Mr Castro, who is on a visit to Panama City, claimed they were planning to kill him. He claimed they had been sent on the mission by a Miami-based anti-Castro organisation. The group has denied any involvement in the plot.
