Age Concern condemns attack on elderly brothers

The Age Concern organisation in the North has condemned a savage attack on two elderly brothers on their isolated farm at Castlewellan in County Down. The two men, aged 73 and 67, were attacked by a gang on Christmas night. The older brother suffered a fractured skull and cheekbones and is said to be in a stable condition in hospital. The other has cuts and bruises and is being looked after by friends. Some money was taken from the house.
