The three men being questioned in connection with the death of a 19-year-old in Buncrana, County Donegal, last night have been released without charge and a file has been sent to the DPP. The victim has been named as Damien Gill, from Clonmany in County Donegal.
The attack happened outside a disco on the town's main street. Gardaí on foot patrol found Mr Gill's body at St. Mary's Road near the town's library and it was subsequently taken to the morgue at Letterkenny General Hospital. There have been a number of violent incidents in Buncrana in recent months which are believed to be linked to a local feud. The three men arrested are local and in their 20s.
