A man is being questioned at Midleton Garda station in East Cork about the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Carrigtwohill last night. The girl was walking home after midnight when she was dragged down a lane-way, beaten and raped. The man, who's in his mid thirties and from East Cork, was arrested in Cork City at lunchtime.
