Doppleganger a U2 look a like band appeared on this edition of 'Kenny Live' and mimed to 'Who's Gonna Ride Your White Horses?' before all four members of U2 appeared and spoke to Pat Kenny.
Shown here are edited highlights of the interview. Larry Mullen jokes about how it is all about cash now for U2. Bono talks about George Bush and Bill Clinton. Edge and Bono explain some of the pranks they have got up to on stage during their Zoo TV tour. Bono also talks about Brendan Bowyer and the showbands.

Information: | 'Kenny Live' began broadcasting on 15 October 1988. Pat Kenny the shows presenter had previously primarily been known as a current affairs broadcaster. 'Kenny Live' was to be a mixture of chat, music and entertainment. The show was broadcast on a Saturday night which was traditionally the slot for 'The Late Late Show' but it had switched to Friday nights two years earlier. In 1999 Pat Kenny took over as presenter of 'The Late Late Show' following the reitrement of Gay Byrne. |
