The Northern Ireland Chief Whip Roy Bradford talks to RTÉ reporter Ronnie Turner about the commission established by the Government to examine the causes of unrest in Northern Ireland.
Bradford says that the commission has not been asked to make recommendations but rather report on the situation and the causes of the problems in the north, specifically around the issue of "One Man, One Vote". Bradford feels that it would improper for him to comment on the methods that the commission will use or what it might investigation. The initiative for the independent commission came from the Northern Ireland Government, according to Bradford.
