The Northern Ireland Secretary, Peter Brooke, has told the House of Commons that the case of four Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) men imprisoned for the shooting of a Catholic, Adrian Carroll, could be sent to the Court of Appeal if new evidence is presented.
