Ollie Campbell kicked Ireland to victory against Scotland to win a Triple Crown at Lansdowne Road.

After a thrity-three year wait, Ireland take the Triple Crown with a win against Scotland. Outhalf Ollie Campbell kicked all of Ireland's points in the 21 - 12 victory that thrilled Irish supporters. This was the first time that Ireland won a Triple Crown at Lansdowne Road.

Straight off the pitch, the hero of the hour, Ollie Campbell, having battled his way through celebrating supporters, speaks to Liam Nolan for RTÉ Sport. Ireland went in at half time, having played with a strong wind leading 15 - 6. Ollie Campbell says he was disappointed to miss a kick that would have made the lead 18 - 6. He admits the players and coaching staff could not shut out the talk around the chance to win a Triple Crown after such a long time in the build up to the game.

Ollie Campbell acknowledges the support and noise in Lansdowne Road which was so important in helping the team to get the win.

The crowd were absolutely just fantastic. I don't think there is any way we could have lost out there. They would not allow us to lose.

Outside on the pitch, some players were still trying to get through the singing Irish rugby supporters. Match commentator Fred Cogley spots Hugo MacNeill making his way to the dressing room through the throng. Fergus Slattery has managed to keep the match ball stuck up his jersey.

One delighted supporter is Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald, who quips that, unlike the General Election result that has left no party with a clear majority, there was a clear winner in the rugby match.
