John Penty, a farmer in Toormakeady, County Mayo, has invented a new attachment for his tractor to assist with the hay-making.
Its prongs undulate to fit the contours of the land.
John Penty says that his haycock lifter works perfectly with forks that undulate with the contours of the field where hay is being collected. He now plans to produce the machine commercially to help other farmers gather the hay from their fields.
