The Canadian basketball team are in Dungarvan preparing for the next Olympic Games.

The twelve man Canada basketball squad accompanied by two coaches, are staying at St Augustine's College in Dungarvan to acclimatise to the European weather in advance of a series of international games in Yugoslavia, Greece, Italy and Russia.

Trainer Jack Donoghue puts the players through their paces on an outdoor court. Their tallest player is Lars Hansen who at six foot eleven inches is above average, even by the standards of this Olympic squad.
