A season of events will bring Islamic culture to Temple Bar in Dublin.
Visitors to Temple Bar will be able to experience film, music and photography from all over the Middle East. A Moroccan bazaar will offer food, crafts and entertainment. This is the first festival of its kind in Ireland and organisers hope it will help promote positive perceptions of Islamic culture.
This is the Casablanca Bazaar, an authentic Moroccan market in the heart of Dublin.
Khalid Maghraoui, organiser of the Casablanca Bazaar, speaks to some of the craftsmen from Morocco who have travelled to Dublin to show skills which have been passed down through the generations.
The festival also includes storytelling from Turkey, music from Iran, and film from Afghanistan. Judith Mok, Festival Curator, hopes these events will propagate a more positive image of Islamic culture.
