A steam organ is among the many vintage steam engines enjoyed by the large crowds at Upton in Cork.

This is the sixth year for the two day Upton Steam Rally. Among the attractions is an 86 year old Marshall traction engine owned by Mr John Rockford of Cleariestown in County Wexford. This is the oldest engine still in working order in Ireland.

The puffing steam engines record a lifestyle of other times.

Also on show is a musical steam organ shown by Osmond Bennett from Portlaoise who is one of the founding members of the rally.
