Irish Business Against Litter highlight the country's problem with rubbish and a failure to enforce litter laws.

The organisation Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL) accuses the government of ignoring Ireland's litter problem. Part of an IBAL poster campaign earlier in the year had the following message for Italian tourists.

Benvenuti a Dublino
Scusateci i Rifiuti

A follow up campaign is designed to embarrass the government. One billboard reads,

Please Ignore The Litter
The Government Does

Tom Cavanagh of IBAL claims that the government does not heed its own laws on litter. The Litter Act is not being enforced. People on the streets of Dublin agree with the sentiment behind the posters and agree they are effective in highlighting government inaction. Tom Cavanagh says that IBAL will continue its campaign until it gets results.
