Delight and despair for fans hoping to see Jedward in Dundrum.
Hundreds of girls and boys queued overnight and from the early hours of the morning for a chance to meet the X-Factor duo Jedward at Dundrum Town Centre. Twins John and Edward Grimes from Lucan, known as Jedward, are signing copies of their debut single 'Under Pressure' later today.
The signing is restricted to the first 400 fans in the queue resulting in tears of delight and despair earlier this morning. Some have been queueing for 13 hours in the hope of getting one of the limited wristbands which allow access to the HMV store in Dundrum to meet Jedward.
One young fan says,
It's just been my dream to get a hug off one of them.
By 4.00 pm, the HMV store was full of wristband holders waiting to meet their heroes. Jedward themselves are excited to be on RTÉ News given that it is just the launch of their first single.
