The search for the kidnapped Earl and Countess of Donoughmore continues.

On the evening of 4 June, 71 year old John Hely-Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore and his 67 year old wife Countess Dorothy were taken at force from their home at Knocklofty House in Clonmel.

The couple were kidnapped at gunpoint from their Tipperary home. Garda checkpoints were set up in the area to speak to motorists who may have seen something. Abandoned buildings are also being searched in the hope of finding the kidnap victims.

Mark Hely-Hutchinson, the son of the Earl and Countess says the family are willing to offer a substantial reward for information leading to the whereabouts of his parents and their safe return.

We would suggest that they contact the local Garda but we are obviously ready to listen to information arriving by any source whatsoever.
