Relatives of prisoners transferred from Mountjoy Jail to Limerick Prison demand their return to Dublin.
Relatives of men, who had been moved to Limerick, joined the Prisoners' Rights Organisation calling for the prisoners to be moved back to Dublin. The peaceful picket lasted for two hours.
Mrs Judy Cullen, wife of convicted murderer John Cullen, claimed that she had been denied prisoners rights. She is concerned for her husband's welfare and believes that he should never have been transferred to Limerick in the first place.
Wives of the convicted men claim that their husbands have been beaten up. They say that an all out hunger strike is now in progress.
