Singer songwriter David Gray performs 'Babylon' on 'Popscene'.
Born in Manchester but raised in Wales, David Gray has built up a loyal following in Ireland.
In November 1998 David Gray released his fourth album ‘White Ladder’. He performs ‘Babylon’ the second track on this album.
‘White Ladder’ produced five hit singles, including ‘Babylon’ and was originally released in July 1999.
'Popscene' was a pop music magazine programme aimed at young people, with reviews, analysis and live studio performances. It ran on Network 2 (now RTÉ Two) from 1997-1999.
