Kerry school teacher and traditional musician, Michael Ó Duinn, explains the wonders of the tin whistle
Sitting on a mountainside, Michael Ó Duinn plays 'Mise Éire' on the tin whistle. He began to play the tin whistle at school and demonstrates the various scales that can be produced on the instrument.
If you want to get the octave of any note, all you have to do is to blow the ordinary note stronger.
As well as being a traditional tin whistle player Michael Ó Duinn shows he can also sing.
