The search for the Woman Driver of the Year has entrants across Ireland competing in regional finals.
Thousands of drivers applied for the Road Safety Council competition in the hope of winning the prize of a Mini car.
Area tests are held throughout the country with the grand final due to take place at Belfield in Dublin on 29 July. Women from Westmeath, Offaly and Laois compete at Columb Barracks in Mullingar in a regional final. Each competitor was tested on their car handling skills as they were required to drive through the course.
