Dublin demonstration calls for the protection of gay people.
Four hundred people took part in the protest march, which started at Liberty Hall and finished at Fairview Park where Declan Flynn was killed.
Organised by the National Gay Federation (NGF) the marchers called for decriminalisation of homosexuality in Ireland and equal rights for gay people in all parts of society.
Also taking part were student organisations, representatives from the Workers Party, the Democratic Socialist Party, and the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp.
Making their way up Amiens Street, the protestors finished the march at Fairview Park. A minute's silence was observed for the late Declan Flynn and victims who have died as a result of homophobia.
