A Mayo company manufactures fitness equipment for use in gyms, schools and sports clubs.

At the age of 21, Richard McCormack set up a manufacturing business aimed at the growing numbers interested in keeping fit. In a small factory near Castlebar in County Mayo the team at Erin Gyms manufacture a range of fitness equipment suitable for schools and mini-gyms. This is the first time that people in Ireland will able to work out on domestically manufactured gymnasium equipment.
