The longest day of the year and the summer solstice are celebrated at a pagan ceremony on the Hill of Tara.
Arch Druid Adge, Dawn Arrington, and Partholon MacPharlain were among those attending the ceremonies at the Hill of Tara in County Meath. Druids from all over Ireland and Europe attended the solstice, which is considered one of the most important pagan feast days.
Many of those in attendance are returning to their Celtic ways.
Around two hundred people turned up for the dawn ceremony to welcome the sun god.
The final ceremony got underway with a torch lit procession of Druids.
