This is a very big catch.
This haul of poteen making equipment of aluminium stills, copper piping known as worms, buckets, barrels and gas rings were concealed at a remote location which was raided by Gardaí in recent days.
In addition thirty gallons of distilled and bottled poteen plus one thousand gallons of wash with an estimated value of £5000 have been prevented from going on the market.
