'The Mountain Lark' was a traditional music, song and dance programme produced in conjunction with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. It was presented by singer Seosaimhín Ní Bheaglaoich from Cultúrlann na hÉireann, the Comhaltas headquarters in Monkstown, County Dublin.
The first episode was a special on Galway musicians and dancers and was broadcast on 29 April 1985. 'The Mountain Lark' ran for four series, finishing on 23 December 1987.
