All set as homing pigeons are released and the birds begin their race back to Dublin.

Synchronising clocks as preparations are made for pigeons to fly 200 miles to Dublin.

Nobody really knows how pigeons find their way home but one thing they must have is good visibility. 

The countdown begins, the trap doors are opened and hundreds of pigeons take flight on their journey home.
