Children take part in the dress rehearsal for a school Christmas nativity play.

Under the watchful eye of their teacher, a group of young children have a dress rehearsal for their school nativity play.

The nativity play tells the story of Christmas. Along with the roles of Mary, Joseph and their donkey, the cast also includes angels and shepherds. Mary and Joseph arrive at Bethlehem looking for somewhere to stay. They are told by an innkeeper,

I'm sorry we're full up we've nothing left.

The nativity play includes the popular Christmas carols 'Little Donkey' and ‘Silent Night’.
