Strawboys, rope making, sheep shearing, needle work, music, dance and a range of stalls all contribute to the fun of the Ardara fair in Donegal.
The traditional fair day of 1 July was revived in Ardara County Donegal last year and after the success of the event, it was held again this year..
In the lead up to the Fair Day, posters were put up around the town suggesting the types of costumes that people could wear on the day of the fair.
According to organisers, around eight thousand people turned up to see and take part in the different events.
Traditional skills such as weaving, rope making, and sheep shearing were on display during the day.
The straw boys were also in Ardara for the fair having travelled from Achill Island in County Mayo.
