The Municipal Art Gallery on Parnell Square in Dublin hosts the Oireachtas Art Exhibition.

Oireachtas na Gaeilge is an annual festival celebrating the arts and Irish culture. At the Municipal Art Gallery Aindrias Ó Muineacháin and Dónal Ó Murchú discuss in Irish the events surrounding the 65th Oireachtas na Gaeilge. The event opens with a mass at the Pro-Cathedral and will continue for a week.

Dónal Ó Murchú also selects a few examples of the art work on display. The art exhibition is spread over three rooms on the first floor of the Municipal Art Gallery in Dublin representing a cross-section of Irish art including Eileen Costelloe's 'Oileanach', Sheila Corcoran's 'Liomoili', and John Anthony's 'An Long Threighthe', as well as works of sculpture by Edward Delaney and Brighid Ní Rinn.
