The passing of old Irish customs and superstitions is the topic of this extract from 'Ag Taisteal na nGaeltachtaí', produced by Proinsias Ó Conluain for his series 'An Mhuintir S'Againne' in 1969.

Micí Sheáin Néill Ó Baoill from Ranafast in Donegal, Seán Ó Conghaile from Cois Fharraige in Connemara and Diarmuid Ó Drisceoil from Cape Clear in County Cork debate the negative effects this is having on society.
