In 2002 electronic voting was debated by the Late Late Show audience.

With electronic voting to be used for the first time in three constituencies, 'The Late Late Show' audience members debate the pros and cons of electronic voting. Plans to introduce e-voting were later abandoned.

Audience members raise issues about the practicalities of the electronic voting system and express concerns over anonymity and freedom of choice. Noel Whelan, author of 'The Tallyman's Campaign Handbook', expresses his concern that the drama would be taken out of the count process and thereby make politics seem less exciting to the public.

Presented by Pat Kenny this episode of The Late Late Show was broadcast on 10 May 2002.
