A rare ice formation has charmed the northern US city of Westbrook in Maine.
The formation, in the shape of a remarkably perfect disc shape, was spotted on the Presumpscot River.
Such a phenomenon is specific to slow currents, and caused by the cold weather that has gripped the region over recent weeks.
This footage captures the disc in all its glory, painting it as a floating moon amid the cityscape.
