Lidl Ireland has announced a recall of mislabelled batches of Pâté.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) said that "due to a labelling error, Lidl Ireland is recalling the above Warren and Sons Pâtés".
The implicated products either have an incorrect 'use-by' date of 25/12/2019 or have no 'use-by' date printed on packs.
The 'use-by' date is located on the side of the product packs, the FSAI stated.
It said point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl Ireland stores that sold the implicated products.
Customers can return the product to Lidl Ireland stores for a full refund.
