A 59-year-old man has died following a fire at a house at Drimoleague in west Cork.
Gardaí and other emergency services were called to a house on High Street in the village at 12.45am where they found an injured man.
Medical assistance was given but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The house had been cordoned off for forensic examination but the circumstances of the fire do not appear suspicious.
