Four gardaí have been suspended from duty amid allegations they were involved in using cocaine in a Kildare nightclub before Christmas.
It is understood the gardaí are all based at a garda station in Leinster.
No arrests have been made and the suspensions are part of a garda internal disciplinary inquiry.
