A man in his 50s has been arrested after cannabis plants worth €2.7m were discovered in Dublin.

A search operation was carried out at a warehouse on Belcamp Lane in Coolock this morning.

Cannabis plants at various stages of growth, in what gardaí described as a grow house, were discovered.

The scene has been preserved.

The man is being held at Coolock Garda Station.
