A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out tomorrow on the body of a young man who was found dead in his home in Lucan, Co Dublin, this afternoon.
Gardaí are treating his death as suspicious but say they are awaiting the findings of the State Pathologist before deciding whether or not to begin a criminal investigation.
The 22-year-old was found by his brother at their home on Woodville Avenue in Lucan that they share with their mother and her partner.
The scene will be preserved overnight pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau.
The man's body remains at the scene.
It is understood the man was an apprentice plumber who was training in Co Limerick.
He had been out on Saturday night with friends who have told gardaí he was in good form.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have any information or may have seen the man between Midnight and 3pm this afternoon to contact them.
