Two men who were being questioned in connection with the death of a 21-year-old man in Co Mayo have been released without charge.
The men were detained yesterday by detectives investigating the death of Joseph Deacy last August.
They were held overnight at separate Garda stations in Co Mayo and questioned again for a number of hours today.
Mr Deacy, from St Albans in England, was found with head injuries outside a house at Gortnasillagh, Swinford on Saturday 12 August.
He was taken to Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
Gardai say their investigations into Mr Deacy's death are continuing and they are reviewing all evidence gathered to date.
An investigation was launched after post-mortem examination results indicated the 21-year-old did not die as a result of natural or accidental causes.
